Tiffany Perry's Biography
Hello Everyone! My name is Tiffany Perry, and I'm one of the CHAT summer interns. I am originally from Bowie Maryland, but grew up attending schools in Virginia. I just recently graduated from the University of Richmond, where I studied Religion and Studio Arts. I became interested in CHAT this past year through many new iniatives started with UR. I was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., which started a mentoring program with the CHAT ladies, and the Umoja Gospel Choir who began singing with CHAT. While at UR I was also a Resident Assistant, in other Christian organizations, and involved in my community; where I met many of the other CHAT interns. I'm really excited about this summer- I feel like I'm the ultimate summer camp counselor, I enjoy hanging with my friends here, and I love what CHAT is doing in the community. Hopefully I can learn a few new things, as well as teach a something new this summer (I have a few skills somewhere). Well, I dont really have much more to say about myself, but check my blogs so you can hear more of our adventures! (And I must say hello to my mother, Joyce, and my family who supports me a thousand percent!)
