Shelby Faircloth's Biography
Hi! My name is Shelby Faircloth and I was born in Denver, Colorado. I have two wonderful parents, Bob and Dianne, and an older sister Kellie and a younger sister Kimmi whom I consider two of my best friends. I have lived in Colorado my entire life and I love it, mostly the mountains! I have been going to the mountains with my family ever since I was very young and I love being outside and camping, hiking, and skiing. I also love the ocean, especially in the northeast!

I just finished my junior year of college at the University of Richmond. I love college and the University of Richmond. I have made some wonderful friendships during my time at college. At the University of Richmond I am a member of the cross country and track team and I serve on the leadership team for Intervarsity Christian Fellowship. I am studying sociology and women, gender, and sexuality. I have learned so many great things in both of these areas that have caused me to think and see the world and those in the world differently. My interests in both of these areas have led me to exciting places such as Zambia and Peru. I hope to return to Zambia very soon.

I am very excited about working with CHAT this summer. I have been tutoring with CHAT since my freshmen year in college and I am excited about living in Church Hill this summer. It is so exciting to be a part of the wonderful things that are taking place in Church Hill.
